2020.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive rods, 0.8-1.5 x 2.8-3.0 µm. Non-motile. Produce central endospores.
Sporangia is not deformed (admin note).
Colonies on Luria Bertani medium are creamy white, non-translucent, raised and 3.0–
3.5mm in diameter after incubation at 28 ºC for 48h. Growth occurs at 10-45 ºC
(optimum 28 ºC), at pH 5-10 (optimum pH 7) and with 0-9% (w/v) NaCl (optimum,
0.5%, w/v). Facultatively anaerobic.
Isolated from spent mushroom substrate in the Fangshan District, Beijing, China.
Undetermined.
