al. 2013.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive rods, 0.6-1.5 x 1.8-4.3 µm. Motile. Produce paracentral or terminal
spores in slightly swollen sporangia.
Colonies on GYEA medium are cream coloured, circular and convex with entire
margins after 3 days of incubation at 30 ºC. Growth occurs at 10-45 ºC (optimum 30
ºC), at pH 4.5-10.0 (optimum, 8.0) and in 0-4% (w/v) NaCl. Strictly aerobic.
Isolated from soil collected from Wang Sai Thong Waterfall in Thailand.
Susceptible to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, rifampicin, streptomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, tetracycline, erythromycin and polymyxin B.
Undetermined.
