Gram-negative short rods, 0.8 x 1.2-2.2 μm, occuring in single, in pairs or in short
chains. Motile.
Colonies on TSA agar plate after 24 h incubation at 30 ºC are round (sometimes with
a slightly scalloped margin), flat, convex or umbonate and transparent. The colony
diameter is less than 0.5 mm in diameter. Can grow at 20, 30 and 37 ºC, but not at 4
or 41 ºC.
Isolated from wastewater from a zinc factory at Liege, Belgium.
