acid, sebacic acid, succinic acid, bromosuccinic acid, succinamic acid, L-alaninamide, L-alanine, L-alanylglycine, L-asparagine,
L-aspartic acid, L-glutamic acid, glycyl-L-glutamic acid, L-histidine, L-phenylalanine, L-proline, L- pyroglutamic acid, L-serine,

Negative results for arginine dihydrolase and catalase.

D-trehalose, D-cellobiose, turanose, gamma-hydroxybutyric acid, alpha-ketoglutaric acid, malonic acid, glucuronamide,
glycyl-L-aspartic acid, D-serine, D,L-carnitine, inosine, thymidine, phenyethylamine, putrescine and alpha-D-glucose-1-phosphate.

Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.5-0.6 x 1.3-1.8 μm. Weakly motile. Non-spore-forming.
In MGY agar medium with Cd2+ (8 mM) produces purple crystal particle. Colonies are
round, light pink to white, opaque, wrinkled, and umbonate with fuzzy boundaries. Can
grow at pH 4.0-9.0 (optimally at pH 6.5), at 5-40 ºC (optimum growth at 30 ºC) and in
0-7% (w/v) NaCl ( slightly inhibited by NaCl concentration over 7%). Can grow on
nutrient agar. Aerobic.
Isolated from acidic and polluted with heavy metals mine soils of Dabaoshan in South China. Shows cadminum tolerance and high
adsorbability of Cd2+.
Resistant to streptomycin, kanamycin, ampicillin and cefetamet.
