Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.3-0.6 x 1.5-2.0 μm. Motile by one polar flagellum. Non-spore-
forming.
Colonies are circular, convex and white-coloured with a diameter of 0.5-1.5 mm after
incubation on R2A agar for 2 days. Grows on R2A occurs at 12-37 ºC, pH 4.5-7.5 and
in the presence of 0-0.5 % (w/v) NaCl. Optimum growth occurs at 28-33 ºC, pH 5.5
and 0 % (w/v) NaCl.
Isolated from forest soil sampled at Dinghushan Biosphere Reserve, Guangdong Province, China.
Undetermined.
