Gram-negative. Presumably motile. Non-spore-forming.
Growth occurs on mCCDA at both 37 and 42 ºC under microaerobic conditions and at
37 ºC under anaerobic conditions. No growth at 30 ºC under microaerobic conditions.
No growth on 2% (w/v) NaCl, 1% (w/v) glycine or 0.04% (w/v) TTC.
Isolated from porcine gastrointestinal mucosa.
