Colonies are ivory-coloured, round and convex with clear margins on R2A medium.
Growth occurs at 5-35 ºC (optimum, 28 ºC). Grows at pH 5.0-8.0 (optimum 6.0-7.0)
and with 0-2% NaCl. Strictly aerobic.

Gram-negative rods, 0.7-0.9 x 2.0-3.0 μm. Motile by subpolar, one or two flagella.
Isolated from forest soil from Halla Mountain, Jeju Island, Republic of Korea.
Resistant to nalidixic acid.
