Colonies are colourless to white, raised, round and smooth with entire edges. The
colony size is approximately 0.9-2.0 mm in diameter on R2A agar after incubation for
48 h at 25 ºC. Aerobic. Grows at 15-40 ºC (optimum 20-30 ºC). Grows at pH 7.0-8.0
(optimum at pH 7.0). Grows in the presence of 1 % (w/v) NaCl, but not in 2% NaCl.
