Gram-negative rods, 0.9 x 1.5-3.0 μm,. Non-capsulated. Motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are beige, round, convex and smooth with entire margins. Optimum growth
temperature is 28- 30 ºC. Aerogenic.
Isolated from a human blood sample in Paris, France.

D-mannitol, L-tartrate, D-malate, citrate, D-glucose, D-fructose, D-galactose, trehalose, D-mannose, cellobiose, 1-O-methyl
beta-D-glucopyranoside, L-arabinose, glycerol, inositol, D-saccharate, cis-aconitate, D-glucuronate, D-galacturonate,
N-acetylglucosamine, D-gluconate, DL-lactate, L-histidine, L-aspartate, L-glutamate, L-alanine and L-serine.
Negative results for gelatinase, H2S production, indole production, lysine decarboxylase, ornithine decarboxylase, oxidase, urease,
acid production from glycerol and raffinose.
No utilization of melibiose, gentiobiose, melibiose, sucrose, raffinose, lactulose, L-arabitol, xylitol, D-tagatose, D-sorbitol, adonitol,
erythritol, 3-O-methyl D-glucopyranose, D-tartrate, meso-tartrate, quinate, betaine, L-sorbose, palatinose, melezitose, maltitol,
