Gram-negative short rods, 1.0 x 1.0-2.5 μm, occurring singly or in pairs. Motile. Non-
spore-forming.
Colonies are round, smooth and convex with entire margins on tryptone soy agar and
pale yellow in colour after incubation of 24 h at 28 ºC. Facultatively anaerobic.
Isolated from Eucalyptus leaves in South Africa.
Isolated from lesions on Eucalyptus leaves exhibiting symptoms of bacterial blight and dieback.
