L-arabinose, cellobiose, esculin, D-fructose, galactose, gentiobiose, glucose (without gas production), gluconate (with gas
production), 2- and 5-ketogluconate (weak reactions), glycerol, lactose, maltose, mannose, melezitose, melibiose, methyl
alpha-D-glucopyranoside, raffinose, salicin, sucrose, D-tagatose, trehalose, turanose, and N-acetylglucosamine.

Negative results for arginine deamination, catalase, nitrate reduction, acid production from adonitol, D- and L-arabitol, dulcitol,
erythritol, D-fucose, glycogen, inositol, D-lyxose, mannitol,  rhamnose, ribose, L-sorbose, methyl alpha-D-xyloside, xylitol, and L-xylose.
