Gram-positive coccobacilli to rod-shaped cells, 0.9-3.0 µm. Non-spore-forming.
Non-motile.
Colonies are white, glossy and 1.0-2.0 mm in diameter after 72 hours of anaerobic
incubation at 37 ºC on MRS agar. Can grow at 30-45 ºC (optimally at 37 ºC), pH
5.0-8.5 and in 0-3% NaCl media. Facultatively anaerobe.
Isolated from a urine sample from a reproductive-age healthy woman.
Undetermined.
Homofermentative.
