Colonies are white, convex, smooth, disc-shaped and 1-2 mm in diameter after 48 h at
37 ºC under anaerobic conditions. Can grow at 20-45 ºC (optimally at 37 ºC), pH
4.0-10.0 and in 0-5% NaCl media (no growth in 6.5% NaCl.
Isolated from the forestomach contents of a captive proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus).
