Gram-positive cells showing a rod-coccus cycle. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on T5 agar are white. Growth occurs at 15-40 ºC, optimally at 28 ºC. Grows
in the presence of 0-6% (w/v) NaCl. The pH range for growth is 6.0-8.0. Aerobic.
Isolated from a soil sample collected from Turpan desert in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China.

L-arabinose, D-mannitol, tagatose, D-arabitol, glycerol, N-acetylglucosamine, D-glucose 6-phosphate, 3-methyl glucose, L-alanine,
L-arginine, D-fructose 6-phosphate, methyl alpha-D-mannopyranoside, methyl alpha-D-glucopyranoside, L-glutamic acid, L-serine,
pectin, D-gluconic acid, quinic acid, citric acid, D-malic acid, L-malic acid, bromosuccinic acid, acetoacetic acid, propionic acid and
