ginkgonis Cheng et al. 2017.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive cells, showing a rod-coccus cycle. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on R2A medium are circular, convex and yellow. Growth occurs
at 20-35 ºC (optimally at 28 ºC), at pH 6-10 (optimally at pH 7) and in the presence of
0-4 % (w/v) NaCl (optimally in 0% NaCl). Aerobic.
Isolated from the rhizosphere of Ginkgo biloba L. in China.
Susceptible to aztreonam, fusidic acid, guanidine HCl, lincomycin, lithium chloride, minocycline, niaproof 4, rifamycin SV, tetrazolium
blue, tetrazolium violet, troleandomycin and vancomycin.
Undetermined.
