Non-motile.
Colonies on the agar plate are small, smooth, entire, convex, and non-pigmented.
Grows on nutrient agar and nutrient broth. Temperature range 20-30 ºC, optimum
growth temperature is 28 ºC. Growth occurs in the presence of up to 5% NaCl.
Aerobic.
Isolated from soil.

Positive results for alpha-galactosidase, alpha-glucosidase, beta-galactosidase, alpha-mannosidase, starch hydrolysis, acid
production from fructose, rhamnose and sucrose.
Can utilize raffinose as sole carbon source.
