Description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive cocci. Non-motile. Non-sporeforming.
Colonies on agar medium are bright yellow, circular and smooth. Grow optimally at
27 ºC, at pH 8-8.5, at salinities 3% (w/v) NaCl. Halotolerant, growing at salinities up to
17% (w/v) NaCl. Strictly aerobic. Grow on Blood agar.
Isolated from a wastewater treatment plant at a pesticide factory in Denmark.
