Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive cells, rod-coccus shaped. Non-spore-forming. Non-motile.
Colonies on TSA are convex, circular, cream, opaque and usually 1–2 mm in
diameter within 2 days at 30 ºC. Grows at temperature 15-35 ºC, pH 5-9 and with 0-
0.8 M NaCl. Aerobic.
Isolated from a Nerium oleander rhizosphere subjected to seasonal drought in Granada, Spain.
Susceptible streptomycin, rifampicin, chloramphenicol, kanamycin and tetracycline.
