Gram-negative rods, 0.5-1 x 1.5-5 μm, motile by more polar flagella.
The white-yellowish colonies on King's B medium are smooth, circular with regular
margins and moderately convex, and, after 2 days, produce a yellow-green
fluorescence under UV light (365 nm). Growth occurs between 4 and 36 ºC, but not at
41 ºC. Aerobic. Haemolytic.
Isolated from plants rhizosphere (Linum usitatissinum).
Unknown. Soil bacteria. Produces no hypersensitive reaction on tobacco leaves.
