Gram-negative, nonspore-forming rods, motile, 1.2-1.6 x 0.7-0.8 μm.
Colonies on YED are circular convex, yellow, translucent and 1-2 mm in diameter after
2 days incubation at 25 ºC. Produces a yellow pigment in media containing glucose.
Optimal growth temperature is 22 - 25 ºC. Medium: Nutritive Agar.
Isolated from the grass phyllosphere.
