Phylum Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Class Gammaproteobacteria, Order Pseudomonadales, Family Pseudomonadaceae,
Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas mangiferae Anurat et al. 2019.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.3 x 1.5 µm. Motile by lophotrichous flagella. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are white, smooth and rounded with entire margins and about 2 mm in
diameter after 2 days at 30 ºC. Growth occurs at 12-40 ºC (optimum 28-30 ºC). The
pH range for growth is pH 6.0-8.0 (optimum pH 6.5). Cells can grow in the presence
of 1-5% (w/v) NaCl. Aerobic.
Isolated from bark of mango tree in the Bangkachoa area, Samutprakan Province, Thailand.
Undetermined.
