Genus Pseudomonas,
Pseudomonas ovata Rao et al. 2021.

Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods,  0.5-0.9 x 1.0-3.5 µm. Weakly motile by one polar flagellum.
Non-spore-forming.
Grows at 4-37 ºC (optimum, 28 ºC), at pH 5.0-8.5 (optimum, pH 7.5) and in the
presence of 0-6.0% NaCl (optimum, 2.0%). Aerobic.
Isolated from  the skin of the tail of farmed Murray cod (Maccullochella peelii peelii) with a profound ulceration, China.
May be involved in Murray cod skin ulceration.
