Gram-negative, short rods, 0.9-1.8 x 0.4-0.6 µm. Motile by polar multitrichous flagella.
Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are light-yellow, circular, smooth, 4-5 mm diameter after 3 days of
incubation at 28 ºC in TSA. Growth occurs at 15-37 °C, not at 4  or 42 °C, (optimal
temperature, 28 °C), at pH 5.5-8.5 (optimal pH, 7.5) and with 0-5.0 % (w/v) NaCl
(optimal concentration, 2.0 %). Strictly aerobic.
Isolated from the profound head ulcers of farmed Murray cod (Maccullochella peelii peelii) from the town of Dajing, Yueqing City,
Zhejiang Province, China.
Undetermined.
