Phylum Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Class Gammaproteobacteria, Order Pseudomonadales, Family Pseudomonadaceae,
Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas rhizoryzae Wang et al. 2020.
Synonym: "Chryseomonas rhizoryzae" (Wang et al. 2020) Rudra and Gupta 2024.
Gram-negative rods, 0.6-0.7 x 2.0-2.5 µm. Motile by means of a polar flagellum.
Colonies are circular and yellow-pigmented. Growth occurs at 10-37 ºC (optimum, 30
ºC), at pH 6.0-8.0 (pH 7.0) and with 1-7 % (w/v) NaCl (0-1% NaCl). Grow well on
R2A agar and TSA.
Isolated from rice seeds and roots, China.
Undetermined.
