Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas soli Pascual et al. 2015.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.5-0.9 x 1.0-2.2 µm. Motile by a single flagellum.
Non-spore-forming.
After 48 h incubation at 28 ºC on TSA, colonies are topaz in colour, circular, convex with
regular edges. A star-shaped precipitate appears inside the medium during bacterial
growth. Fluorescein pigment is produced, but pyocyanin is not. Growth is observed at
4-37 ºC (no at 45 ºC), and in the presence of 0-6% (w/v) NaCl. Strictly aerobic.
Isolated from a soil sample fromthe Sierra Nevada National Park, Spain.
Undetermined.
