Phylum Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Class Gammaproteobacteria, Order Pseudomonadales, Family Pseudomonadaceae,
Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas veronii Elomari et al. 1996.
Gram-negative rods, motile by means of a single polar flagellum.
Colonies on nutrient agar are smooth, circular, and nonpigmented. Nonhemolytic on
blood agar. Produce a fluorescent pigment on King B medium. Growth occurs
between 4 and 36 ºC but not at 41 ºC. Poly-beta-hydroxybutyrate is not accumulated.
Isolated from mineral water.
Unknown (none).
